Twitch is great. It's crammed full of electronics, there is no guitar except bass on one track and no drums except some percussion on another track. Even the vocals are often electronic sounding. But it is a dark album, there are lots of synth and samples as well as the lyrics that all add up to this dark industrial type of negative output. There is even a song, The Angel, that could loosely be called a ballad. The main reason this track stands out is due to it's toned down (relatively) use of samples and synths. There is some great stuff here and it is an honest and raw album.
