Review# 70
Like the Austrian Death Machine album I reviewed a couple of weeks ago this is an album where the songs are broken up with short joke interludes. For the most part I am not a huge fan of those interludes but I do quite like Drive Thru - potentially due to Dave Grohl playing the drive through attendant. The cool thing about this album is that Jack and Kyle pull on all of their musical influences to add different touches here and there; Classical, Rock, Prog,Funk etc. There is even a song about Dio passing the torch to them.
All the talking does make it a difficult listen if you have too much background noise so you can end up blasting your ears if you listen to the album through headphones.
For the most part though the album has enough good songs and catchy tracks to be enjoyable every now and then but I can definitely see why people wouldn't like it.
