Review# 304The Adversary is the debut solo album from Black Metal legend Ihsahn. The album is a marvellous slice of metal delight. There is a great mix of genre throughout The Adversary that ranges through most of the extreme styles, neatly weaving them together. Ihsahn does a lot of the work on the album; vocals, guitar, bass, keys and synth as well as production, mixing arranging and some of the editing. But then that's just the way he rolls as other albums have shown. Amazing album from one of the best in the business.
