The Devil You Know is a fine example that you don't have to be young to make good music... Having a good pedigree helps no matter your age! Dio's pipes sound strong, powerful and full of passion - they sit nicely at the front of the music. Tony Iommi's guitar sounds amazing as ever and Geezer Butler on bass and Vinnie Appice on drums keep things moving nicely. The album has a slow Doomy-ish pace through out and is full of occult/fantasy-esk lyrics. The track Bible Black is probably one of my favourite individual tracks of the last few years. This is definitely a fantastic last hurrah of an album for Ronnie James Dio who sadly lost his battle with stomach cancer in May 2010.
