Danzig is the first album released by the band Danzig and is lead by front-man Glenn Danzig, got it? Good. To date this is the best selling album released by the band, it is full of awesome tracks including the ever popular Mother. On this album I quite like Danzig's voice, I love his strange croon(?) and at this point it is still reasonably easy to decipher the words too. His voice fits nicely with the laid back, bluesy pace of the album and for most part is the focal point of the music.
The album has a great combination of faster pace Rock tunes as well as some really laid back tunes mixed in. For the most part, in my opinion anyway, this is really all about Glenn but it is a fantastic show case for his voice and song writing so that isn't a complaint. Anyway, its a great album so get it!
