Review# 128Killswitch is a band that I loved for a season, I absolutely thrashed this album for a good six months or so. Then, over time I just stopped listening to it.
I think part of the problem is that this is just an album that dates fast, there are moments where I can almost get into the feel of it again but it just never quite sinks in. I also feel like it has lost something in the recording; I have seen clips of them live and there is so much more feeling and attitude that just isn't here. Maybe another part of it is that I have a happy relationship and these songs are often the opposite of that so I can't even relate thematically.
The best part of the album is the cover of Dio's Holy Diver - check out the video, it's hilarious!
