Gojira – The Way Of All Flesh

Review# 155

While I thoroughly enjoy From Mars To Sirius the follow up album The Way Of All Flesh just feels just that little bit more developed. It seems to flow together as an album as opposed to being individual tracks on an album and the tracks themselves feel more solid. My biggest disgruntlement is that the secret track is tacked onto final track The Way Of All Flesh with minuets of silence in between. But that is made up with Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God making an awesome appearance on Adoration For None.
Gojira are one of those bands that can send a message without becoming to preachy, all of their music is rooted in conservation, protecting the planet, whales etc but it is not done obnoxiously. They are probably one of the few bands that can sing the line "plastic bag in the sea" repeatedly and make it sound cool!
